The images shown are from my late father’s black and white photographic collection and family photo archive. John E. A. Bolton was born in Harrow and worked in London. The majority of his photographs were taken in the 1950’s and up until his early death in 1968. He had his own darkroom in an outbuilding at the family home in Hyde Heath, Buckinghamshire. Belonging to local camera clubs and photographic societies he won several awards for his work in their annual exhibitions.
Using his images IntheBlackShed and slb1publishing was created to combine my range of notelets, cards, diaries, calendars and prints. Product range, A6 mono and kraft card sets, A5 and A4 prints with frames, canvas prints, cushions, calendars, desk diaries, post it notes, and further images as I continue to build it.
Previous ‘IntheBlackShed’ blogs pre 2021 will be added to the archive over the next few months.
